John Jackman joined Caliber Advisors, Inc., in 2006 and was made Vice President in 2007. He has substantial senior-level valuation experience, specializing in the valuation of capital stock, minority and controlling interests, privately held interests, derivative securities, and intangible assets. He has performed valuations for mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, litigation support, tax, financial reporting, and estate and gift tax purposes. He is an expert in financial reporting requirements, including fresh start accounting, SFAS 141, SFAS 142, SFAS 144, and SFAS 123R. Mr. Jackman has participated in and/or overseen the valuation review process with national and regional accounting firms, including KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young, Peterson & Co., and Pannell Kerr Forster. Prior to joining Caliber Advisors, Mr. Jackman was most recently with Navigant Capital Advisors, and was previously associated with Kroll Zolfo Cooper, as well as Evans & Evans, Inc., in Calgary, Canada. Mr. Jackman graduated from California State University, San Marcos with a BS in business administration, and subsequently earned a master’s in international management from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management, with a concentration in finance.
